Leandro Carvalho foi contratado pelo Botafogo no início da temporada 2018, quando o Alvinegro envolveu dois jogadores (Renan Gorne e Victor Lindenberg) por empréstimo ao Paysandu, clube formador do jogador, por um vínculo até dezembro de 2020, à época – e estendido por uma mais temporada em janeiro.

Antes de retornar ao Ceará para a segunda passagem, em meados de 2018, Leandro Carvalho fez apenas quatro jogos pelo Botafogo, que detém 50% dos direitos econômicos do atacante – o restante pertence ao Paysandu.

Zimbabwe’s Elton Chigumbura and Hamilton Masakadza have claimed they are yet to be paid the second installment of payments for their participation in the Bangladesh Premier League. The two appeared for Sylhet Royals, which is among five franchises that haven’t paid the Bangladesh Cricket Board the second installmentAccording to the players’ contract this season, the first installment was to be paid before the start of the tournament while the second was due at the end of it. The third installment is to be paid within six months of the tournament’s end.The BCB had taken over the responsibility of player payments this year after there were irregularities by the franchises in the inaugural edition of 2012. But as per the current process, the board needs to receive the amount from the franchises before paying the players. According to BPL secretary Ismail Haider Mallick, the BCB have only received money for the second installment from Dhaka Gladiators and Duronto Rajshahi.”It is true that five out of seven franchises haven’t made payments after the first 25%,” Mallick told ESPNcricinfo. “Our lawyers have told us that we have to wait till May 15 before sending out legal notices. We will take action if we are not paid by that time.””The BCB has taken up the responsibility of paying the players mainly because of what happened after the first edition of the BPL. We will continue to do so, but the franchises have to pay us the players’ fees. Once they fail to make the payments, we will take out the bank guarantees to pay the players.”Masakadza was bought in the players’ auction for $30,000, but has only received the first 25% of the payment. He played in seven matches for the Royals, making 90 runs at an average of 12.85.”I was so excited when I was bought in the auction,” Masakadza said. “The experience of being involved in the tournament was great but it has become a real disappointment since that our second payment is still due, and I’ve been waiting patiently for ten weeks now.”Chigumbura echoed his Zimbabwe team-mate’s concerns, reminding the Sylhet Royals to ensure payment. أكد مصدر داخل الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، تلقي خطاب من “كاف”، بشأن تحديد موعد إرسال أسماء الأندية المقرر لها المشاركة في بطولتي دوري أبطال إفريقيا وكأس الكونفدرالية.

وأوضح المصدر لـ”بطولات”، أن الاتحاد الإفريقي طلب تحديد الفرق المشاركة في البطولات الإفريقية، يوم 30 يونيو الجاري، رغم أن الدوري المصري الموسم الحالي 2022 – 2023 لم ينته بعد.

وشدد المصدر، على أن اتحاد الكرة ليس لديه أي أزمة بسبب عدم انتهاء مسابقة الدوري، مؤكدًا أنه في بداية الموسم الحالي، تم إرسال اللائحة للأندية، والتي تتضمن بندًا أنه في حال طلب كاف أسماء الأندية المشاركة في البطولات الإفريقية قبل نهاية الموسم، سيتم الرجوع إلى ترتيب الدور الأول، لتحديد الفرق.

وأوضح المصدر ذاته، أنه تمت مُخاطبة الاتحاد الإفريقي من أجل تأجيل إرسال الأندية المشاركة في البطولات الإفريقية لمنتصف يوليو المُقبل؛ ولكن في حال إصرار كاف، سيتم على الفور إرسال ترتيب أندية الدور الأول.

الجدير بالذكر، أن عامر حسين رئيس لجنة المسابقات بالاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، أعلن في وقت سابق، أن الدوري المصري موسم 2022 – 2023 سينتهي يوم 15 يوليو المُقبل، وسيتبقى فقط 3 مواجهات للأهلي غير مؤثرة على جدول الترتيب، سينتهي منهم يوم 25 من الشهر ذاته.

The Islamabad High Court has upheld the suspension of Zaka Ashraf and ordered the Pakistan inter-provincial coordination committee to name an interim PCB chairman to represent the board in the ICC annual conference in London later this month. The next hearing on the matter will be on June 19.The court, at its initial hearing last month, suspended Ashraf from “exercising his power within his incumbency” due to what it called the “dubious” and “polluted” process to elect him. It was responding to a petition filed by a former official of the Rawalpindi Cricket Association against the Pakistan board’s elections that were held in May, through which Ashraf was elected to a four-year term as chairman.The PCB lawyer argued against the suspension order, saying that Ashraf needed to represent the PCB at the ICC annual conference, but the court turned down the request. “In the peculiar circumstances, the inter-provincial coordination committee is directed to appoint some acting chairman [of the] PCB, fully qualified to be appointed as chairman, till final disposal of instant writ petition, with the authority to attend forthcoming meeting of the ICC so Pakistan may be represented in the meeting,” the judge said.However, bringing in an interim chairman will not be a straightforward matter. The PCB, being an autonomous body, isn’t regulated by the government and is directly linked to the president of Pakistan, the patron of the board.The PCB constitution states that, “(i) during the absence of chairman for the period of more than 45 days or in the event the chairman tender his resignation or in case of his death or in the event of the office of the chairman falling vacant for any other reason, the board of governors may elect and appoint an acting chairman from amongst its members, who may only have limited powers during the absence or till the appointment of the chairman; (ii) the chairman during his leave from office or otherwise, may delegate any of his power, in writing to any other member of the board of governors or the chief operating officer.”Given the court’s order, there is no procedure defined in the board’s constitution to appoint a chairman through the inter-provincial coordination committee.Ashraf was elected in the first week of May – the first election of a PCB chairman – under the new board constitution that replaced the system of appointing the chairman by the patron. The process was conducted without any prior announcement, the PCB revealing Ashraf’s appointment through a press release, and Ashraf’s election was challenged in three different courts in the country.
