A busca continua incessante para a Chapecoense. Já se aproxima do segundo turno do Campeonato Brasileiro e o Índio Condá ainda não venceu fora de casa, em oito jogos, empatou três e perdeu cinco. A oportunidade é neste domingo contra o Sport, na Ilha do Retiro, às 19h, pela 17ª rodada da competição.

O técnico da Chapecoense, Gilson Kleina, quer o time ligado e organizado para conseguir o primeiro triunfo sem ser o mandante. Ressaltou ainda que o Leão é forte jogando ao lado de sua torcida.

-Temos que manter o desempenho aliado ao resultado. Todos os jogos no Brasileiro são difíceis, tem suas particularidades. Jogar contra o Sport na Ilha do Retiro vai nos exigir muito, como todas. Importante ter uma organização, uma postura e que no fim do jogo seja recompensado com resultado bom – disse Kleina.

Mesmo com o fato de não ganhar fora de casa, o comandante elogiou o estilo de jogo aplicado pela equipe, que errou em lances capitais, refletindo no resultado. Além disso, afirmou que o grupo está motivado para conseguir o feito.

– Estamos tentando o resultado positivo. Estamos trabalhando para acontecer. Não estamos mantendo uma regularidade nos dois tempos, são tempos distintos, acho que nisso estamos pecando. Mas fizemos bons jogos fora, encaminhamos a classificação na Copa do Brasil contra o Atlético-MG. Poderíamos ter vencido o América-MG e com mais ocasiões contra o Fluminense. Vontade não está faltando. Espero que esteja próxima, não só pela vitória fora, mas para ter uma sequência de resultados bons – falou o treinador.

Esta noite, é uma boa oportunidade para a Chapecoense conseguir tirar o jejum e embalar no Campeonato Brasileiro. Se a vitória vier, tem grandes possibilidades de sair da zona de rebaixamento e pegar o “elevador”, e chegar a 12ª posição.

Both games were set to be played at Nairobi Gymkhana Club. Torrential rain led to the initial postponement of both matches in October and now an extended period of exceptionally wet weather has resulted in a further delay to the finals.Cricket Kenya carried out a ground inspection over the weekend and found the Nairobi Gymkhana ground completely waterlogged. Alternative venues were discussed but with more wet weather expected this week, the decision to postpone once more was taken.Cricket Kenya Chief Executive Tom Sears said: “Obviously we are extremely disappointed that we are going to have a further delay but there was no chance the finals could have been played next weekend. We have had around six weeks of exceptionally wet weather and that has taken its toll.”We have consulted with key stakeholders and agreed to look at re-scheduling the finals early in the New Year. As we said previously it is very important we do play the finals and bring to a conclusion what has been a very successful inaugural year of the East African Cricket competitions.”

تحدث محمد الشناوي، قائد الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي، عن مواجهة فريق سياتل الأمريكي، مشيرًا إلى أن الأحمر يسعى للفوز لمواصلة مشواره في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية.

كما وجه كابتن الأهلي الشكر للجماهير المغربية على دعمها ومساندتها للفريق واللاعبين في مباراة أوكلاند الماضية، مضيفًا أنه على ثقة باستمرار هذا الدعم غدًا خلال مباراة الفريق أمام سياتل الأمريكي.

السفري قام بتدخل قوي على طارق حامد ليحصل على بطاقة صفراء لكن عقب اللجوء لتقنية الفيديو، قرر الحكم تغيير البطاقة إلى حمراء ليعاني الفيحاء من اللعب بـ10 لاعبين في الوقت المتبقي من اللقاء.

The Argus review recommendations accepted by Cricket Australia, and those put on hold

The decisions include: The immediate creation of a new senior management position, the general manager team performance, who will be responsible for the team, coaching, selection, Centre of Excellence and will work with state cricket performance and talent managers. The general manager operations, Michael Brown, will continue to be responsible for scheduling, memorandum of understanding negotiations, security and anti-corruption, state and other competitions, umpires and coaches. The introduction of a five-man selection panel, including a full-time chairman, two part-time selectors monitoring state cricket, and the Australian team captain and coach. The national talent manager will not be a selector. The head selector will be responsible for performance management, including communication of selection policy and strategy, evaluation of and communication with individual players, including outside the national squad, co-ordination of player development plans, and succession planning. A new coaching structure will be introduced, with a head coach who is also a selector. The coach will have an expanded role with greater authority and accountability, and will work with the Centre of Excellence and state associations to direct Australian cricket’s overall coaching strategy.
The Argus review also recommended a number of other moves, which the board has not ratified but will consider in the near future. They include: Retaining a ten-round Sheffield Shield competition with multiple Shield rounds before the first Test each year. Reviewing the Futures League and recognising grade cricket as a vital part of the pathway, reviewing the composition and structure of under-age competitions and placing more focus on Australia A and using it as a genuine second XI. Reviewing Australian cricket’s first-class pitch strategy, with each pitch to offer a balance between bat and ball, and each pitch to be unique to local conditions, offering Test-equivalent conditions. Improving injury management Improving national coaching systems. Aligning cricket’s incentive systems, including the MOU, to give greater emphasis to linking reward with performance and to ensure player payment incentives for Test cricket reflect its position as cricket’s premium format. Reviewing the number of CA contracts. Carefully assessing Big Bash League private ownership implications to ensure private ownership does not incentivise BBL expansion in a way that could compromise Australia’s goal to be the No.1-ranked Test nation.
