Um dia depois de o jornal francês L’Équipe publicar que o Paris Saint-Germain (FRA) avalia pagar a multa de 50 milhões de euros (R$ 214 milhões) para tirar Pedrinho do Corinthians, o meia-atacante disse que não tem interesse de sair agora no Timão. Ele projeta fazer história pelo clube.

– Como eu sempre falei, a gente vê essas notícias, mas falo para o meu empresário não falar nada, quero continuar, construir minha história, recompensar o carinho que a torcida tem por mim. Creio que são só sondagens, minha cabeça está aqui no Corinthians e quero fazer história aqui – disse Pedrinho.

– Até mesmo ontem meu amigo me perguntou como eu fico tranquilo com essas coisas. Eu tento ficar tranquilo, minha cabeça está completamente no Corinthians. As pessoas mandam mensagens, mas falo que não tem nada. Sempre converso com o presidente que quero fazer história aqui no Corinthians – acrescentou.

Aos 20 anos, Pedrinho tem contrato com o Corinthians até o fim de 2020. Ele subiu ao alenco profissional em fevereiro de 2017, após destacar-se na campanha do título da Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior.

Durante a entrevista coletiva desta sexta-feira, Pedrinho também falou sobre a maratona de jogos. O Corinthians enfrentou a Chapecoense na quarta-feira, pela Copa do Brasil, e encara neste sábado o Atlético-PR, pelo Brasileirão. O técnico Osmar Loss priorizou descanso e não esboçou a equipe.

– É um pouco cansativo para todos. Chega a um determinado momento e começa a pesar. Mas os profissionais aqui nos ajudam para a recuperação ser a mais rápida possível – disse Pedrinho, que afirmou estar bem fisicamente para o jogo contra o Atlético-PR.

– Tem cuidado com todos os jogadores, a parte física preocupa, a atenção tem que ser grande. Estou apto para jogar, não estou sentindo dores. Não sei te dizer o time que vai jogar. رد فاروق جعفر نجم نادي الزمالك السابق على التقارير التي تربط الزمالك بعقد مفاوضات من أجل تمديد التعاقد مع نجله لاعب الوسط سيف فارق جعفر.

وفي تصريحات لقناة “الحياة” المصرية قال فاروق جعفر: ” لم يحدث تواصل من أي مسؤول في نادي الزمالك حتى الآن لتجديد عقد نجلي، ولكن لا يوجد لدينا مشكلة في التجديد ولا نستعجل حدوث ذلك، المهم أن سيف يؤدي بشكل جيد”.

وعن رأيه في ما قدمه الأهلي في كأس العالم للأندية: “شرف للكرة المصرية تواجد فريق مصري في مونديال الأندية، ولكن لن يذهب طموحك لكي تفوز على ريال مدريد، يجب أن نتحدث بشكل واقعي، الأهلي بدأ بشكل جيد ولكن ضغط المباريات لا نعتاد عليه”.

وتابع: “الأهلي قدم مباراة جيدة أمام ريال مدريد، من الصعب أن تحقق الفوز على فريق كبير بحجم الملكي، فقط يجب أن تلعب بأفضل طريقة ممكنة، وهذا ما حدث بالفعل وبالنسبة لي الأحمر قدم ما عليه في كأس العالم للأندية”.

واحتتم عن مواجهة الأهلي والهلال في دوري أبطال إفريقيا: “هي مباراة صعبة والملاعب في السودان تجعل الأمور أكثر صعوبة حتى في حال غياب الحضور الجماهيري، والأحمر قادر على الخروج بنتيجة إيجابية”.

Treinando há pouco mais de um mês com os profissionais do Joinville, o lateral-esquerdo Bruno já está pensando na estreia da equipe Sub-20 no Campeonato Catarinense. O Tricolor de Santa Catarina inicia sua trajetória na competição no próximo dia 30, logo num clássico, diante do Figueirense, às 15h, no CT Cambirela, em Palhoça.

– Estou muito confiante para a estreia. O Figueirense tem um grande time, mas o nosso grupo inteiro está focado em fazer uma boa estreia. Treinar entre os profissionais é muito bom, pois traz uma vivência diferente e esperamos estrear com o pé direito – disse Bruno.

Treinar com a equipe de cima tem sido muito importante para o lateral-esquerdo, que com apenas 18 anos, vem absorvendo tudo que lhe é passado pelo técnico Felipe Surian e também pelos companheiros mais experientes no Joinville:

Monty Panesar, the left-arm spinner who has endured a troubled season, has apologised for his recent behaviour after being released by Sussex and joining Essex for the remainder of the season. He was allowed on loan to a Division Two side and is still hoping to earn a place on the Ashes tour to Australia, while harbours hopes of being the “best spin bowler in the world.”Panesar was fined by police for being drunk and disorderly earlier this month after urinating on bouncers following a night out in Brighton and has not played for Sussex since. He was left out of England’s squad for the final Ashes Test at The Oval when, under normal circumstances, he would have been expected to be included with England naming two spinners.”I have endured a challenging time this year off the field and my frustrations have sometimes got the better of me professionally,” Panesar said in statement. “I apologise for letting the club, my colleagues and my fans down.”I am grateful to Sussex for allowing me to be released from my contract for 2014 and 2015 in order to explore other opportunities to further develop my cricket. I want to give myself the best chance of playing all forms of the game at the highest level.”I would like to thank Sussex for the opportunities, experiences and support I have enjoyed at the club since 2010, and my gratitude for the contribution Sussex have made in providing me with a platform to gain selection for England on three successive winter tours.”Essex is now the next stop in a career that began at Northamptonshire and has often flourished for club and country but is need of repair. Such is the fate of anyone with an unorthodox and large personality, Nigel Pearson’s reputation precedes him. The recently installed Watford boss is a disciplinarian. He is scary. He has the severe haircut of an eleven-year-old bully and the demeanour of a community copper with a grudge.

Then there are his ostrich quotes. You know the ones. On taking umbrage with a reporter who questioned whether Pearson’s Leicester side were receiving undue negative coverage, they spewed forth in an estuary accent to a gob-smacked press room. “I think you are an ostrich. Your head must be in the sand. Is your head in the sand? Are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand? My suspicion would be no. I can. You can’t.”

There aren’t many Premier League managers who make such boasts but Pearson already had form for bizarre bragging, once claiming that he outwitted a pack of wild dogs in the Carpathian mountains by rolling around in nettles. How could we forget too his strange ‘I’m more than capable of looking after myself’ defence after a downright weird touchline fracas with Wigan’s James McArthur in 2015. What bothered people at the time was his unerring smile as he placed the midfielder in a stranglehold after an accidental collision. Pearson though – for reasons that will never be explainable – mistook our confusion as a slight on his masculinity.

So of course when dealing with an original character as this preconceived perceptions follow suit. A cartoonish, one-dimensional prejudice that means when that person is appointed manager of a struggling Premier League club after a couple of years out of the spotlight, we smile and wonder what madness awaits. That in itself is perfectly understandable.

Whose Line Is It Anyway: Roy Keane, Graeme Souness or Adrian Durham?

Where legitimacy ends however is when that appointment is greeted with a big dose of surprise because the personality behind the coach merges in our mind’s eye with his managerial acumen.  That is unfair and hopefully, having picked up eight points from his opening five games in charge at Watford – that includes also a series of noticeably improved, better organised and committed displays – we are now seeing the error in that. We are now separating the man and the manager.

Because make no mistake about it, Pearson is an excellent coach. It was illustrated in his superb marshalling of the Foxes to survival in 2015 when all hope seemed to be lost. Empirical proof that an individual has the capacity to revive a club in a tail-spin is exactly what the Hornets need right now.

It is illustrated too in a stabilising of a relegated Hull City in 2010 and guiding them to mid-table in the Championship with a long-standing club record broken along the way, as they remained unbeaten for 14 away games.

Mostly, it is illustrated in the groundwork he can take credit for prior to Leicester City’s incredible Premier League title triumph. It was Pearson who signed Jamie Vardy from non-league Fleetwood. It was Pearson who signed Riyad Mahrez, then a relative unknown and Danny Drinkwater, likewise. It was him who brought in Robert Huth mid-season, putting the first bricks in place for what became an iconic Leicester backline.

To relish the prospect of further daftness in interviews and incidents from this unique character is entirely natural given Pearson’s back catalogue of weirdness. But let’s not forget that there is every reason to believe it will be Watford fans laughing loudest at the season’s end.

Boasting a squad so Premier League proven that it finished eleventh last season and reached the FA Cup final, as results are already showing Pearson is more than capable of guiding the Vicarage Road outfit back to their usual abode of mid table.
